• If we’re confident your project aligns with our expertise (see Who We Are and Who We Are Not), we’ll schedule an in-person site visit to review the space and discuss your ideas.
Discuss Project Goals/Requirements
• During the site visit, we’ll explore your renovation goals, needs, budget, design preferences, permit requirements, and past projects to ensure our values and standards align.
Project Estimate/Contract
• If it’s a good fit for both parties, we’ll provide a high-level estimate based on similar projects, delivered through our client portal along with a draft contract for your review.

What to Expect
Design Development
Renovations
• We’ll introduce you to a few of our trusted designers, giving you the freedom to choose the one who truly understands your vision. Once chosen, we’ll bring in any additional professionals you need—like Structural Engineers or Geotechs—to keep the project running smoothly
Structural Repairs
• We’ll enlist expert engineers to design and approve the necessary repair plans, ensuring your home’s safety and longevity.
Smaller Renovations (e.g., a single bathroom):
• Prefer a more hands-on approach? Feel free to select all finishes and fixtures yourself, while we bring in a Draftsman to handle permit drawings. We’ll give you a detailed checklist and point you to our favorite showrooms around the Lower Mainland.
Note: Many clients are surprised by how many decisions go into even a small bathroom renovation!

Budget
Build Project Budget
Once your design drawings and product specifications (finishes and fixtures) are in place, we’ll reach out to our trusted network of trades and suppliers to gather accurate quotes. This step solidifies your project budget—ensuring it’s both transparent and up-to-date.
Review and Feedback
We welcome your questions, concerns, or last-minute ideas. If any changes are requested, we’ll incorporate them into the design, re-price as needed, and update the budget accordingly.
Construction Preparation
With your plans, budget, and drawings finalized to reflect your vision, we’ll schedule the start date and ensure every detail is in place. From here, it’s time to bring your project to life!

Larger Renovations
Our team mobilizes on-site to install any required tree protection, set up temporary fencing and restroom facilities, and prepare everything for a smooth construction process.
Smaller Renovations:
We’ll focus on safeguarding any areas not involved in the work. If you’re in a condo, we’ll also protect common hallways to keep shared spaces clean and undamaged.

What to Expect
Daily Site Report
Our Site Supervisors create daily reports (with photos) every day we're on site. If we have questions or updates for you, you'll get a notification and a direct message. This way, you can monitor your project's progress without needing to visit the site in person.
Weekly Site Meetings
Meeting on-site once a week gives us the chance to review progress together, answer questions that are easier to address face-to-face, and keep everything on track.

Need to make a decision? Any items requiring your input will appear on your client portal dashboard, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

After regular weekly check-ins, the final review is typically seamless. We’ll conduct a final walk-through, address any last questions, and provide access to manuals and maintenance guides in your client portal—ensuring you have everything you need to enjoy your newly renovated space.
